Elizabeth Howard, Ph.D.

Lizzie’s background in industrial and organizational psychology and several years of consulting experience have led her to develop a deep, intuitive awareness of organizational issues and how they impact people.  She is known for her commitment to understanding her clients’ business and the unique challenges they face, and she leverages critical insights to help leaders arrive at solutions that ensure both employee engagement and business results.

Her experience spans several industries, including financial services, health care, manufacturing, hospitality, and retail, with specialized experience in nuclear power.  Lizzie’s clients have included CNA Insurance, the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago, McDonald’s, Best Buy, and Entergy.  Over the years, she has provided change management support to facilitate numerous software and systems implementations as well as broader operations transformation initiatives.  Additionally, Lizzie has skillfully designed and implemented various leadership assessment and development programs to better serve organizational needs.

Lizzie received her Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and earned both her Master of Science and doctoral degrees in industrial/organizational psychology from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, Illinois.

Lizzie is a proud resident of Chicago’s South Loop neighborhood.  Like any true Chicagoan, she insists that the winters are “not that bad” and spends every spare moment of the summer months within 50 feet of the lakefront.
