Scott Southard

Possessing more than 13 years of consulting experience, Scott is a proven professional with recognized strengths in organizational change management and change communication.

Beginning his career with a global public relations and communications firm, Scott understands the importance of perception management and applies best-practice thinking to skillfully facilitate the people side of change.  He approaches transformation initiatives with a keen focus on understanding the diverse views and experiences of all impacted stakeholders.  Leveraging valuable insights, he builds practical and strategic plans to inform, align, and motivate employees to achieve higher levels of performance.

Scott’s adaptable nature and comfort with ambiguity help him successfully navigate times of great change and uncertainty.  He is frequently called upon to provide counsel and execution support during crisis situations, the introduction of new products or enterprise technology, and critical shifts in corporate strategy.

Scott has served clients across multiple industries including, but not limited to, manufacturing, insurance, energy and chemical, health care, banking and financial services.  Broad exposure to unique industry challenges has enabled him to gain significant experience in organizational design, business process and operations improvement, campaign management, and corporate communication.

Scott received his Bachelor of Arts in economics from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana, and is certified in Prosci change management methodology.

He and his wife, Joyce, live with their daughters, Avery and Adalyn, in a suburb just west of the city of Chicago.
